Welcoming the year 2021, we’re planning to write or do more things on our lovely website here, so here we are with the very first blog post.

Best known for being the singer and guitarist for one of the most praised indie-pop groups, Grrrl Gang, Angeeta Sentana, or Angee, is no stranger to us. Having known her for quite a while, we thought it’s a good thing to catch up with her at the beginning of this year, talking about a bit of 2020, her plan for 2021, and whatnot.

Here’s a glimpse of what she’s got in mind.

How’s 2021 so far?

Angee (A): 2021 has been really good for me, so far. I’m actually looking forward to see what this year has in store.

Do you have some memorable good things that happened to you back in 2020?

A: Quite a lot, surprisingly. 2020 was such a shit year, but there were plenty of blessings in disguise. I got to spend time with my family. I got to reconnect with myself, as well, which was something I’ve been meaning to do for a while. Mainly, I was finally able to rest after having such a hectic schedule for the past four years.

Do you have any particular favorite music, movies, and anything else from last year? Would you recommend some to us?

A: I was really obsessed with this movie called Funny Girl starring Barbra Streisand last year.

What inspired you lately?

A: Love and hope.

What’s your plan, personally and with Grrrl Gang, for this year?

A: Finish my classes, thesis, and graduate this year, so I can start putting 100% of my energy and time for a Grrrl Gang album. Wish me luck!

Mind to give us some early year advice about everything?

A: Just take it one day at a time.
