“FAME IS ONE SPIRITUAL VICE”
Back in the aughties, fame was mostly seen through television. 20 years later it has taken its stream to our mobile screens. They were celebrities, but nowadays everyone can be one click away.
But fame was never meant to be public. It’s always been inside us. The curse of fame only deepens our desire to be known. Because the more strangers think they know you, the less known you feel. To have a relationship with fame is to have a relationship with privacy.
This is a subtle capture of modern-day fame and vanity. An egotistical wit towards ourselves and the social nature of being with others.
