On our 4th year anniversary, we are thankful for everything and everyone that has been a part of Public Culture’s journey. All the highs and lows that have filled our days and make it special to look back on. Blessed and supported as a community, we want to expand our family and pass on our gratitude to Daarul Aitam Orphanage, South Jakarta on Saturday, 26 October 2019.
We spent our morning painting t-shirts together with the children. As we were exploring ideas, we got to hear them share about their dreams and interests. It was refreshing, being reminded of why we do what we do in the first place. We then prayed and have lunch together, shared giggles on a guessing game, and wrapped up the day with sweets, gifts, high fives, and pictures with the kids.
All in all, it was a simple day full of laughter, gratitude, and contentment. A definite joyful and humbling experience for us. A reminder to always treasure the moment. Scroll through the photos below to see the fun.
